Experience
I have been working in software engineering for nearly a decade in a variety of environments, from small businesses and startups, to medium and large enterprises. I have worked in a variety of domains, from working 1:1 with small businesses, building the whole web platform of a startup, designing and proposing component based design systems, working on internal tooling, building high performance photo editing pipelines and designing software architectures which allow for engineering teams to grow and collaborate efficiently. I have been transitioning to leadership roles (team leading and engineering management) in recent years and that is my current focus.
Interests
I build many small development 'experiments' in my spare time, usually in response to a small 'I wonder if X' thought that comes up. Generally these spikes have little practical purpose beyond learning and the satisfaction of having done something I had previously thought of as too difficult.
